MISSION

The company strives to fully satisfy the needs of its customers in the scope of maintenance and general construction of equipment and infrastructure for the heavy industry.

HISTORY

The company's origins stem from the restructuring of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. when "Głogów" Copper Smelter maintenance departments were separated from its organizational structure. As a result of the restructuring process of KGHM Głogów division at the beginning of 1997, the following three separate economic entities were established to take up the maintenance of the two Głogów smelters:

- Przedsiębiorstwo Remontowo-Budowlane "REMY" Sp. z o.o.
- Mechaniczne Serwisy Remontowe "SUWIR" Sp. z o.o.
- Przedsiębiorstwo Konstrukcyjno-Mechaniczne "HUTMECH" Sp. z o.o.

The companies took over machinery, equipment and other means of production, tangible and intangible assets indispensable for business operation as well as qualified personnel with many years of experience.
After a few years of ownership and organizational changes in those companies, at the beginning of 2004 they were finally consolidated into a single business entity - REMY Sp. z o.o.

EMPLOYMENT

Along with the company's growth and expansion of its business activity there has been a growth in employment, which amounts to about 800 employees as in the present day. We have the dedicated technical staff and work teams with great experience, particularly appreciated by our customers in the metallurgical industry where even a short downtime can cause considerable losses that are impossible to recover due to the continuous 24-hour production regime.
